With no more action in Swimming, Table Tennis and Shooting, our top sports at the SEA Games in Vientiane, Team Singapore athletes from other sports will have to step up today (Dec 16) if we want to continue our winning ways.

Seasoned Campaigner
In Athletics, seasoned campaigner James Wong leads the way in the Men's Discus, joined by newcomer Scott Wong. Pole vaulter Sean Lim (picture) will also be in action. In Archery, the Men's Compound (Individual) event will feature Adriel Chua, Heng Fook Hup and Michael Ong. Adud Dayyan Jaffar, Benson Ong and Leow Ting Yue are in the Men's Recurve team while Vanessa Loh, Wendy Tan and Samantha Wong make up the Women's Recurve team.

In The Running
The Women's Doubles pair of Shinta Sari & Yao Lei are still in the running in Badminton, as are Brendan Goh (Men's Nanquans), Seet Wee Key (Men's Taijiquans - Taijiquan and Taijijian) and Tao Yijun (Women's Tajiquans) in Wushu. Ang Boon Chin, Lim Chun Kiat (Men's Snooker) and Charlene Chai (Women's 9 Ball Pool Singles) are our representatives in cue sports. Joining in the quest for glory is wrestler Melvynna Tambunan (Women's 51kg Freestyle).
