| About Team Singapore Postcard Well-Wishing Promotion |
|
1. Postcards came about as society explored alternative methods to send quick notes. Over the years, postcards have become collectible items serving as momentos of a particular event, place, or occasion.
2. Initiated by Team Singapore, the Team Singapore@ Commonwealth Games postcards aim to raise public awareness and celebrate Team Singapore athletes' journey to the Commonwealth Games in March 2006.
3. Packed in a set of four, these colourful postcards featuring photographs of Team Singapore athletes, will be available at all 14 Singapore Sports Council Sports and Recreational Centers as well as all Post Offices and Community Centers/Clubs located island-wide from early March.
4. Members of the public are encouraged to return these postcards to us with their words of encouragement and well wishes for Team Singapore athletes who will be representing the nation at the Games. Members of the public can also send their well wishes via e-postcard by logging onto Team Singapore's website at www.teamsingapore.com.sg.
5. Those who send in their postcards and e-postcards by 26 March 2006 will stand a chance to win fabulous prizes in a lucky draw. Prizes include a travel package to the 2006 Asian Games in Doha and weekend stays at the Rasa Sentosa amongst others. In addition, members of the public whose well wishes are read out on-air, will also win attractive hampers.

7. Participants can send in as many postcards as they wish. Closing date for the lucky draw is 26 March 2006. The draw will be held in the last week of March. Winners will be notified in April 2006.
