Who's Who Among Singapore Sports Awards Winners

Table-tennis player Gao Ning (pic), swimmer Tao Li, shooter Jonathan Koh and bowler Jazreel Tan are the major winners in the latest Singapore Sports Awards.
Fine Year
Gao Ning wins the Sportsman of the Year title for winning gold at last year's SEA Games and Commonwealth Championship. He was also ranked World Number 10 in 2007. Tao Li earns the Sportswoman of the Year honour for her 7th placing in the FINA World Championship. She also clinched three gold medals at the SEA Games. Both Sportsboy Jonathan and Sportsgirl Jazreel had a breakthrough year marked by performances which underlined the rise of youth talents in Singapore.
Winners All
The Coach of the Year title went to football's Radojko Avramovic while the Team of the Year award was given to table tennis' Li Jiawei, Wang Yue Gu, Sun Bei Bei, Tan Paey Fern and Yu Meng Yu. The winners will be honoured with cash prizes and trophies at a ceremony next month.
